My client is an ambitious Housing Association that supports people in the South of London and also has a large development programme. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing experienced Head of Finance to join them on a interim basis during a period of change.

Responsibilities:
- To lead the team of 8 finance staff; ensuring that high quality management and financial information is provided for the Association. - To be responsible for operating efficiently and effectively the Treasury Management function, including liquidity, covenants compliance, debt, interest rates and investment management and bank accounts. - To ensure effective cashflow forecasts are prepared and monitored. - To manage the preparation of the annual budget within the agreed timetable, and update the long-term Financial Plan in accordance with changes. - To assist budget holders in managing their budgets and provide them with the necessary financial services to ensure expenditure is monitored on a regular basis. - To prepare the year-end statutory accounts and working papers satisfying all legislative and administrative requirements - To manage the tax affairs of the association and to lead the service charge accounting process. The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified with a proven track record of successfully managing a Finance team in a Housing Association. They will have the ability to write and present reports to the Executive Management Team and the Board and will be comfortable leading the year end process and yearly budget. Most importantly they will have a strong treasury background and will drive improvements and efficiencies within the function.
