An established Lloyd's underwriting business is currently recruiting for an FP&A Analyst to fill a newly created role within its Finance department. Reporting to the FP&A Accountant the successful applicant will assist with the production, development and analysis of all P&L related information including commentary on variance analysis against budget, production of premium and brokerage analysis, claims analysis that supports P&L position, production and modelling of UK expense plans and reforecasts, production and development of the monthly expense reports for all cost centres of the business within the UK and assist with production of all finance MI for the wider business, exec and board, including assisting with production of monthly and quarterly finance pack. Applicants must have relevant technical insurance and analytical experience gained within the London insurance market, possess strong excel skills and have excellent communication skills as this role has a lot of interaction with key stakeholders including directors, senior underwriters and external advisors.
