Dynamic market changes of financial services create opportunities for continuous development, therefore, we are looking for eager and enthusiastic Accounting Assistant to assist our Finance Manager in West London (Ealing) office. This role would be great opportunity for someone with experience in Finance with great ambition for new challenges and progression in well establish FinTech SME.

Responsibilities:
Enter financial transactions into internal databases Check spreadsheets for accuracy Maintain digital and physical financial records Participate in quarterly and annual audits Ensuring receipt of all invoices, entering into the system before payments Preparation of financial documents such as internal / interim invoices, bills Assisting Finance Manager to reconcile accounts payable and receivable, money on the way, bank reconciliation on weekly basis to supervise staff responsible for payments related to payments Assisting FM in managing payroll and preparation of VAT and then writing off calculated VAT Assisting FM in implementing the budget by strict control over the payments and updating the FM on a weekly basis on budget implementation, department wise. Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies Entering financial information ( accounts Payable) into SAP - managing day-to-day transactions Carrying out monthly reconciliation of nominal ledgers, ensuring all information had been entered in the system correctly particularly, reporting on debtors and creditors - Internal audit Assisting FM in the conduct of external Audit Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies Assisting the FM on all other ad-hoc duties as & when require basis. Assisting FM in completing the year-end analysis Managing / Handling accruals and prepayments Managing / Handling accruals and prepayments Requirements: Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Good maths skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP B1, Sage) General knowledge of MS Power BI would be nice to have Bi lingual candidates with ability to speak English and Polish would have advantage Application form is available here: https://workable.com/j/30FBE09942
