As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for: Using Bespoke web-based IT-software to process invoices, payments and financial transactions to ensure financial information is refreshed and updated on a timely and accurate basis. Dealing with and responding to queries from internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, banks, HMRC and external accountants relating to invoices, payments, tax submissions and related transactions. Assisting with the production of financial reports and analysis for finance meetings. Dealing with all other internal departments regarding financial matters relating to their areas. Accounts Assistant | Accounts Administrator | Admin | Accounts | Accounting | Finance | IT | Purchase Ledger | Sales Ledger | Credit Control | Financial Reporting Essential Skills At least 2 years' experience within an internet IT based systems role. Have experience of project costing. Have experience of dealing with purchase ledger. Excellent IT skills in Excel and computerised accounting. Good organisational and time management skills. Able to cope with a large workload and willing to do extra time as necessary. Attention to detail. Reliable. Desirable Skills Accounting/Finance Diploma or above.
