Simpson Judge are recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of a well-established outsourcing business in Manchester City Centre. The Role: Working as an outsourced management accountant for a portfolio of clients, you'll have a varied role including the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and cashflow for a small portfolio of SME clients ranging in size from start-ups through to established companies up to £10m turnover. The role is partly client facing regularly working from their premises, alongside working in the office and the opportunity to work remotely from home. A great opportunity for someone who is looking to take a step away from a traditional practice or industry role and have more interaction with their clients with ambition to develop towards a Finance Director role. Experience & Skills Required: Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA practice accountant with at least 5 years' post qualification experience Proven track record of working with SMEs providing business services including the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial forecasts and cashflows An understanding of year-end statutory accounts and basic corporation tax Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple client needs whilst meeting deadlines and paying attention to detail Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and a passion to deliver top quality work both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Full driving licence with the ability to travel to clients based throughout the North West Competent with MS Office (particularly Excel), Sage and Xero accounting software packages In return, you will be offered a very generous package, including a generous pension and salary of £40-50k D.OE.
