A major opportunity has arrived in Kent to work with Cabot, who are the largest credit management firms in the UK. You will primarily be focused on working within the central analytics team by provided support and oversight to the pricing and portfolio performance related analytical work undertaken by teams across the pan-European business. As a pricing analyst in a dynamic team, you will be working closely with local analytical teams in each geography and Business Unit teams, you will also help ensure the delivery of expected returns to investors and maximise profitability. Working as a pricing analyst within a central function, this role will require effective communication and strong relationships with analytical colleagues and senior management across multiple Business Units. Successful pricing analysts require strong analytical skills coupled with pragmatism, a 'can do' attitude and a willingness for international travel. Knowledge & Experience Requirements; - Highly numerate and detail oriented, preferably with a degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics science subjects, economics or engineering - Extensive experience in an industry that deals with high volumes of data with hands-on work of pricing consumer debt portfolios a distinct advantage. - SQL for data querying/ programming and an understanding of relational database - SAS or R experience a distinct advantage - PC literate. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Visual Basic is preferred - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Understanding of debt purchase processes and collections strategies - Knowledge of statistical sampling techniques such as Stratified sampling as distinct advantage - European language skills or working experience a distinct advantage - Must have the right to work in the UK - 3- 5 years experience in industry is preferential If this has captured your curiosity then apply immediately to discuss this role further.
