Business Analyst 2-Ops - 190013LR Preferred Qualifications Brief Description This position of Business Analyst is with the APAC Central Business Operations(CBO). CBO is a team of business analysts and is a centralized team that caters to & supports the regional business operations teams. CBO is the engine that owns & drives all tactical and analytical functions of APAC business operations. The applicant is expected to be proficient in understanding business processes and systems, good knowledge in excel, infer logical conclusions out of analysis performed, good communication skills (both verbal and written) desired with 3 to 5yrs of experience. Detailed Description The team member is to work in the capacity of a business analyst in the CBO. Primary responsibilities would be to support regional business operations teams in the day to day functioning, deliver scheduled reporting tasks, preparation of analytical reports related to business performance or planning, serve a liaison with sales, Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures. Demonstrates proactive engagement with stakeholders. Keen to understand business processes in order to appreciate the reasons behind performing analytical tasks. Prior experience of business operations i.e. working on Sales Cloud (CRM), creating revenue reports, revenue analysis, pipeline management, forecasting process, territory management, Market Research for account segmentation, producing analytical packs for senior management business review will be good. Multitasking and ability to adapt to evolving needs of business operations that provides sufficient challenges as well as scope of immense learning are few aspects that aspirants should look forward to. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 to 8 years relevant work experience. Additional Details Core RESPONSIBILITIES Support the regional business operations team with periodic reporting and analysis on Revenue, Pipeline generation, Pipeline gaps, KPI measurement, etc Assist in all aspects of business planning and sales operations including budget preparation, headcount planning, sales forecasting and management reporting. Maintain relevant information systems (headcount planning, sales forecasting, etc.), ensuring high data quality and smooth-running of key business processes. Work very closely with the regional Sales and Operations team for consolidation of critical business information and ensure alignment of business goals Interface with Finance, HR, other license sales groups and LOBs. Addressing and resolving sales compensation related queries. Sales territory planning and maintenance. Market Research for account identification and segmentation. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes. Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
