This is a very exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to work for a brand new Media business with exciting growth ahead. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for a variety of general ledger duties and month-end as well. This role requires knowledge of Xero and is located in South East London.

My client is a Media company that specialise in videography for individual clients and companies. They have recently expanded allowing them to now grow their Finance team. A Finance Assistant is required to help out with a busy days work and must have knowledge of Xero.

Finance Assistant

Roles and duties:

• Issue sales invoices and allocate receipts

• Post purchase invoices and payment

• Make bank payments to suppliers and staff

• Bank reconciliations

• Credit Control

• Post Credit Card transactions and receipts

• Balance Sheet reconciliations including: Accruals, Deferred Income and Prepayments

• Quarterly VAT returns

• Process and pay staff expenses

• Liaise with Payroll companies

• General office administration duties

Profile

The successful candidate:

• Good working knowledge of Xero
• Immediately available
• Confident with double-entry bookkeeping

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £28,000-32,000 per annum
