Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Senior Financial Analyst . Our client is a high-profile Government organisation based in Central London ; this is a 6-9-month contract with a strong chance of the role being extended past this. Due to the nature of the organisation you must hold valid and current CTC, SC or DV security clearance to be considered for this position. Reporting into the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will work closely with the wider finance team to provide forecasts and influence the strategic direction of the organisation. Specific responsibilities include: Provide strategic analysis to ensure value to money, including; collaborating with the finance business partners to ensure delivery across the department. Lead on the design and management of financial analysis on projects to deliver to Directors and Board Members. Develop and automate the management information packs. Retain a record of monthly variance analysis and explanations of material / sensitive / volatile areas in actual expenditure, budget and forecasts. The successful candidate will be a part or fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) accountant and you will have a proven track record in Financial Analysis. You will have experience of developing and building complex excel models as well as strong communication skills. Excellent technical skills across a wide range of financial disciplines and a proven ability to apply them effectively as is having credibility with senior colleagues and stakeholders and the ability to influence decision-making. The role requires an individual who takes ownership of their workload and has the ability to deliver reports in a timely manner, and able to improve existing processes.
