Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for your next challenge? Do you consider yourself a proactive person, with excellent attention to detail? A renowned UK law firm is looking for you to join their Finance team in their Bristol office. You will:
• Ensure prompt processing and payment of weekly staff expenses
• Provide clear and concise reports and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the data contained
• Pro-actively make recommendations that are considered and effective to improve service delivery
• Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required while maintaining coverage of purchase ledger activities
• Ensure prompt processing and payment of monthly purchase ledger invoices Your skills and experience:
• A good understanding of VAT and VAT rules and the ability to apply these to the working environment
• Excellent numeracy and Excel skills
• Experience of using a workflow-based expense management system (desirable)
• An understanding of accruals and prepayments (desirable)
• An understanding of AML regulations (desirable) In light of the firm's upcoming plans, any experience of implementing expenses systems is highly sought after for this role.
