FP&A EXPENSE ANALYST / BRIGHTON / PERMANENT / £35K-45K One Family have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A Expense Analyst to join the organisation. Purpose of the role: Purpose of the role is to provide insight, analysis and challenge to the group's financial performance taking responsibility for the expense base. Key accountabilities: Expense base: Managing the monthly expense process and providing insightful commentary including variance analysis (group and functional level) Presenting and reviewing monthly results up to CFO level including flash reporting Working closely with the FP&A reporting team in relation to expense allocations for product profitability Support the management of the group cost base and achievement of the groups expense objectives Partnering: Deliver robust and insightful management information to the cost centre managers including the portfolio Managing cost centre meetings, presenting financial results and actively participating in discussions Supporting the Senior FP&A manager for central function partnering at an Executive level Budgeting & Forecasting Producing the required budget and forecast for the expense base working closely with the FP&A Planning Manager Maintaining a rolling forecast of key expense items for the group Supporting the annual Investment Portfolio prioritisation process Ad hoc support Ad hoc support to the Senior FP&A Manager primarily focussing on strategic developments including business case review and benefits tracking Skills / Experience / Knowledge: Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills and experience Ability to prepare and present reports in a clear and insightful manner Ability to manage workload and prioritise and to deliver to deadlines Good communication skills and well organised. Self-motivated, adaptable with a positive approach. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
