Lloyd's Treasury and Investment Management (LTIM) team provide a variety of investment and treasury services to Lloyd's and is responsible for oversight of the Lloyd's market investments. Performance & Reporting: dedicated to investment performance analysis and reporting. Primary functions are to carry out portfolio valuations, performance measurement & attribution and investment reporting for all portfolios under management. Pillar 3 regulatory reporting for Solvency II investment data (both Lloyd's and the market) Risk: Primary functions include ownership of the Lloyd's investment risk model (LIRM), and quantitative risk analytics. Oversight of the Lloyd's Central Fund investment strategy and adherence to Board approved risk appetite metrics. Contribute to strategic asset allocation decisions for LTIM funds under management Market Oversight: oversight of the Market investment strategies, asset allocations and investment governance. Ensure compliance with Investment Minimum Standards, and perform regular market reviews to promote best practice and adherence to the Prudent Person Principle. The Role Produce performance and reporting analytics for the portfolios managed by LTIM (both directly or held externally for the Central Fund) What Will You Do? Complete portfolio and benchmark investment performance calculations on a monthly basis for Investment Managers and clients Produce and analyse portfolio performance attribution for inclusion within the client reporting packs, and for use by the Investment Managers in strategic decision making and for generating performance commentaries Prepare and distribute reports to stakeholders including Committees & Boards Oversee the maintenance and drive development of portfolio analytical models and systems Assist the Investment Performance Risk & Oversight Manager in the development of high quality management information Collate & produce investment data for the Pillar 3 reporting process and for use in investment models including the Lloyd's Asset Database (LAD) Assist the Investment Performance Risk & Oversight Manager in data communities, contributing business unit knowledge and focussing on Data Governance and Innovation Build strong relationships across the Finance Directorate as well as IT What You'll Need Numerical and analytical skills Efficient time management and organisational skills Accurate with excellent administrative skills Problem solving/decision making skills Ability to apply judgment and quality sense checks Self-starter Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution Knowledge of a broad range of investment asset classes and their application Sound understanding of asset management industry Familiarity with risk modelling techniques and economic scenario generators advantageous Advanced knowledge of Excel essential Knowledge of MS Access advantageous A performance Analyst or portfolio analyst experience in an Asset Management environment Experience of data manipulation and handling data sets essential Experience of any IT lead projects including setting user requirements and User Accept Testing (UAT) is highly useful Experience with SAP Business Objects is advantageous Builds rapport with a broad range of people and establishes good working relationships within the team Adapts and responds to change Results oriented Creating and innovating Professional Qualification Possessing one of the following qualifications would be advantageous but not essential: Investment Management Certificate (IMC) Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) As the successful candidate, you can expect to be rewarded with a competitive salary, an enviable range of benefits.
