Role Profile: To manage and control the finances of multiple large projects within the Transformation Business Unit. To provide accurate and timely finance data to the Senior Management Accountant & Finance Business Partner. Work with the Project Managers to ensure: - Oracle cost controls relate to the commercial management of the project/accurate reporting of project actuals /credible forecasts. Deliverables include: Programme and project level cost review of actuals and forecast. Produce Contract Reviews on a monthly basis to be presented to senior management. Maintain Oracle Cost Controls for each project. Work with the PM's on financial monitoring/forecasting and variances. Provide coaching/training to PM's on Oracle/Contract Reviews. Supporting the month end Process - accruals & prepayments, revenue recognition, journals. Budgeting & Forecasting - Assisting in preparing yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts for transformation projects. Working Capital Analysis for all Transfomation Projects. Assist with cash flow forecasting for all Transformation projects. General ledger & project cost reporting. Ad-hoc - Projects & Requests. Experience of using Excel to a reasonable standard required. Skills/Qualifications: Minimum 5 GCSEs grade A-C with at least B in Mathematics. AAT qualified, CIMA part-qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification. Experience of using Excel to a reasonable standard required. Experience of using ERP finance Systems an advantage. UK Driving licence essential for travel to other telent and customer sites.
