Are you a qualified accountant with strong regulatory reporting experience gained in a financial institution or the Big 4? My client is a global banking group with a requirement for an AVP to join their Regulatory Reporting Change team based in the City of London. You will be responsible for: Reviewing and strengthening controls, reporting enhancements, process streamlining and change across the wider regulatory reporting team Supporting, planning and delivering regulatory reporting inputs to key cross departmental stakeholders such as Pillar 3 disclosures and ICAAP Working with the regulatory capital and liquidity adequacy sub teams to meet their reporting requirements/objectives Delivering regulatory reporting MI and analysis inputs into key committees (up to Board level) and working groups eg New Product, Operational Risk, Risk Management and ALCo Planning, testing and delivering requirements to ensure the successful implementation of changes arising from new directives from appropriate regulatory authorities, such as European Banking Authority, Prudential Regulatory Authority etc Researching and documenting new or changing reporting requirements, rules and provide technical analysis of potential business impacts and prepare test submissions Supporting audit requirements as necessary eg planning, evidence and analysis You must have: An accounting qualification with excellent regulatory reporting (COREP) knowledge gained in a banking environment or in practice Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work to challenging deadlines Strong MS Excel skills and be a self-starter If you have the essential skills as outlined above and are looking for a permanent role within a progressive and dynamic environment, please forward your CV today.
