Success Recruit are currently working with a growing and well-established organisation based in Central Essex who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Manager to work in partnership with the Finance Manager and be a part of their Senior Management Team. Our client can offer flexibility for the Accounts Manager to be part time or full time. The successful candidate will ideally be AAT Level 4 qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA. Our client will support and fund further study within accounting. The successful Accounts Manager will be expected to: Ideally have experience using Xero and be fully competent on Microsoft Excel Have experience administering a payroll system (iTrent) Be able to work on own initiative without supervision Have excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work The successful Accounts Manager will be rewarded with: A growing and forward-thinking company who value their staff Autonomy within the role and an opportunity to support within a growing business Job Specification Purpose of the Role The Accounts Manager will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the whole accounting function throughout the Group. As part of the Senior Management Team the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Group achieves its business objectives. Duties to include but not limited to: Process monthly payroll for over 250 employees on iTrent Payroll Act as main point of contact for employees and customers Supervise the sales ledger and credit control function Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis Produce and analyse Key Performance Indicators and Management Information Management of the company's purchase ledger, ensuring timely payments Covering the Finance Manager during absences This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who is looking for the next step in their career and to work closely with an inspiring and motivating Managing Director.
