Located in well-designed and stunning offices in central London, they are seeking a motivated Chief of Staff to join the company. As headcount continues to grow rapidly and the organisation's activities become more complex, you will focus upon ensuring that the quality of their service delivery continues, and their internal project management and communications remain 'best in class'. The Role: A new role within the business, the Chief of Staff will act as right-hand person to one of the Director's. Your core purpose will be to ensure effective communication, delivery and implementation of projects and strategy covering multiple disciplines. Tasks during a typical 3-month period will range from supporting the delivery of projects, through to business change initiatives, software development implementations, risk evaluations and commercial analysis of ongoing and prospective programmes of work. As a superb problem-solver and organiser, you will possess the ability to think laterally and to identify project and department challenges that need resolving. And- most importantly- to recommend and action swift fixes. The role would therefore suit an individual who has experience of working with senior stakeholders, ideally in the context of projects which involve the delivery of organisational change and/or communications in a fast-growth complex business. Applicants who have prior experience within Management Consultancy, Business Change and Programme Management will therefore be particularly welcome. Due to the high-impact nature of the role, and the level of interaction with senior colleagues, you must be highly motivated and detail-oriented. Decision making is collaborative, with open and honest communication sitting alongside the ability to self-evaluate being the most valued professional behaviours. As Chief of Staff you must therefore be able to deliver within a working environment that requires independence, maturity and confidence. Experience: Successful track record of supporting the communication, delivery and execution of a business strategy within a successful, high-growth, complex organisation. Proven cross-departmental project management experience. Ability to organise and motivate diverse teams and external suppliers. Proven experience of co-ordinating and delivering effective internal communications. Passion for efficient processes and the delivery of consistent 'best practice'. Good understanding of financial and accounting terminology (including the ability to understand and interpret balance sheets and budgets). Experience of developing and interrogating commercial financial models and forecasts. Highly motivated with a strong academic background. Ability to articulate complex concepts in simple, concise language. And to summarise these in flawless prose. First-rate emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt your communication style to a diverse audience where required. A values-driven 'customer first' outlook. Strong MS Excel Additional Requirements (not essential): Experience with change management Consulting/ audit background Experience working within a similar industry (architecture/ real estate/ construction)
