We are searching for an Assistant Accountant - Harpenden to join a team of 4 in our Finance department at Head Office. Do you have what it takes to join our team? As an Assistant Accountant Team Leader - Harpenden you will be responsible for: Completing weekly and periodic management reports including detailed budget to actual variance analysis, Balance Sheet reconciliations and Profit and Loss Calculate accruals and prepayments Maintain fixed asset register Intercompany accounting Working closely with business partners and being a key point of contact to Site & Operations managers during month and year end reporting periods Monthly Production and review of KPI reports Corporation Tax Reporting and Tax Planning for Year End As an Assistant Accountant Team Leader - Harpenden you will have the following expertise and attributes: Ability to work to structured deadlines Previous experience of supervising or managing a small team Able to plan and prioritise workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time. Able to identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to resolve Strong communication skills both verbal and written Knowledge of accounting systems and intermediate Excel- Pivot Tables and V-lookups. Can excel within a fast-paced environment Demonstrates initiative and influences change Stakeholder management across all levels Is a real Team player Our commitment to Equality.
