Within global functions, the Planning and Reporting team is in charge of designing and implementing new global functions KPIs and management reporting together with designing and implementing the budget and forecast processes. The team is also in charge of controlling costs including its people costs. A headcount tracker is in place to centralize all people headcount and people costs, track and control the headcount and related people costs for each function of the global functions. Responsibilities The role includes the following tasks:
• Support to Planning & Reporting Manager in a day-to-day capacity to help shape the future remit of the team
• Support the development of new processes and reporting tools when necessary (eg. Cost tracker; headcount tracker etc)
• Review headcount projections for each forecast cycle before global functions board directors sign off
• Support tracking on a monthly basis actuals against forecast (by function / by country) and help prepare a summary for the monthly global functions board meeting / HFM reporting including high level comments with all key variances
• Maintain the global functions headcount masterfile of 100% of the organisation (single data repository)
• Support in dealing with queries from the Finance Managers across each location
• Support the provision of answers to the Group Finance with FP&A related queries
• Creating a way to better share information with key stakeholders Sphere Of Influence Internal stakeholders: Global Functions Finance, Group Finance, HR Business Partners. Qualifications: Technical requirements
• Command of excel
• Highly numerate with analytical skills
• Presentation skills (PPT)
• Financial/accounting degree preferable Behavioural requirements
• Analytical & numerical skills with attention to detail; ability to analyse, evaluate and summarise large sets of data and provide the key conclusions and insights in a structured, clear and concise manner
• Communications skills with Finance and Non Finance stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment
• Accurate, organised, quick and thorough methods of working
• Ability to work under time pressure and provide timely updates
• Self-starter with a flexible approach to working and a willingness to engage in a variety of tasks
• Driven individual / work at pace in a very diverse and dynamic environment
• Mind-set of continuous improvement of newly created processes Qualifications And Experience
• Studying towards CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Related degree preferable
