The company currently manages a wide array of disciplines including sales, marketing, service delivery and contract management through a combination of in-house transport fleet and waste handling division. Enviroquip, operates a sizeable waste equipment rental fleet being supported by integral workshop facilities equipped for a wide range of welding and fabrication, refurbishment and repair services, including waste compaction machinery manufacture from our facility based at Cardiff. Further information on the company can be found on our website: www.forwardwastemanagement.co.uk The role: Ensuring the day to day operations of Finance run smoothly, aligning activities to the objectives of the Finance team to support the COO. Duties: Achieve the Finance team's objectives in line with the company wide vision Review monthly management accounts and present to the board at monthly board meetings Work with COO to monitor and report on divisional performance to budget at monthly business reviews Identify cost pools with divisional managers to create initiatives Actively looking for working capital management opportunities in line with working capital targets Production of weekly cash flow forecasts Management of the Finance team Be the first point of contact for external auditors Keep up to date with accounting legislation and technology Ensure processes for Finance are fit for purposes and are regularly audited Optimise Sage 200 Skills and experience: Strong technical accounting knowledge Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA,CIMA,ACA) Experience in preparing budgets Ability to manage the workload of the team Keen eye for detail Strong Excel skills and the ability to model opportunities Process driven Knowledge of Sage 200 is essential The ideal candidate: Previous experience within a finance manager role is essential Excellent team player Very organised able to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail Can do attitude Excellent time management Commercially aware Must be proactive and flexible to support the growth of the company Enjoy working in a fast - paced environment and possess the ability to prioritise and juggle several tasks at any one time Must be self-motivated and have the ability for continuous learning and be used to working to strict deadlines. Able to work unsupervised and to successfully complete tasks within tight deadlines
