Check out this fantastic opportunity I have for a Permanent Financial Controller: My Client are a £9m turnover dynamic SME with 3 subsidiaries and a strong Retail customer base. At present, they have 2 small finance functions in London & Manchester, which they are now looking to centralise in Manchester. When complete, you will manage 2 Part Qualified CIMA Accountants and 1 Finance Assistant. Their offices are based on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. There will be some travel to London initially while the functions are merged. A salary of £50,000 - £65,000 is on offer. The business is after a hands-on, Qualified or "Qualified by Experience" Financial Controller with good Management Accounting skills and who can command respect from the team. Your key duties will include: Keeping a tight grip on Cash Flow Liaison with Invoice discounters Forecasting There will also be the need to take on Office Manager duties such as renegotiating insurances & getting the best deals on rates / utilities. If you have any Acquisition, Strategic or Corporate Finance experience, this would be beneficial but not essential. My Client is looking to review CV's on Monday 7th October.
