Hertfordshire Rate: Negotiable Purpose Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Head of Reporting will lead the Group finance team that are responsible for business planning, internal reporting, external reporting and business partnering the Group Procurement team. Duties -Lead the Group's external audit cycle, being the primary contact for the Group's auditors, preparing financial statements, statutory accounts and audit committee papers in line with management deadlines. -Lead the Group's planning cycles, including consolidation of forecast P&Ls, Balance sheet and Cashflow statements. -Manage the preparation, review and analysis of the group's consolidated monthly reporting in line with the internal timetable. -Oversight of actual monthly results and KPIs providing informed and insightful commentary. -Drafting board papers to present forecasts, budget and 3-year plan. -Lead Group finance projects, ie adoption of new accounting standards and audit driven change projects. -Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision making and target setting. -Act as sounding board for the Procurement Finance Manager understanding PPV expectations and commodity costs in/decreases forecast -Responsible for managing team, developing direct reports, and maintaining team culture.
