SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a market leading manufacturing business based in South Derby. The business prides itself on service and as a result built up a large portfolio of bluechip clients. The Finance Business Partner is a critical role within the business. You will be tasked to provide high quality advice and partnership to internal stakeholders within the management team, to allow decisions to be made and supported by financial analysis. You will report into the Finance Director and therefore provides excellent exposure and genuine develpment opportunities. The key responsibilities will be, but not limited to: - Own the Relationship between Finance and the Operations Business Area including managing key relationships, representing finance at business meetings and raising the profile of Finance. - Conduct review meetings with department managers to analyse and challenge costs. - Challenge current ways of working to drive efficiencies. - Partner with key stakeholders in the business to produce strong analysis. - Take the lead on various business projects. - Understand business cost drivers and provide insight to department managers. - Margin analysis. - Ensure all month end activity is completed in an accurate and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be qualified, ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or the equivalent).Exposure to a manufacturing business with some knowledge of product costing. You will be abitiuos to develop and be a self starter. You will also need to be an excellent communicator and not be afraid to challenge processes.
