Senior Accounts Assistant Doodlebone is a vibrant and rapidly expanding dog accessory brand based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Doodlebone are looking for a high calibre, driven and motivated accounts assistant to who has the ability to work autonomously, able to prioritise with a flexible approach in order to support the business at busy times and ensure all critical dates are met. Working closely with the senior management you will have primary responsibility for the day to day management of the finance function. As a part of a small highly motivated environment of 11 employees. Main Duties & Functions Day to day management of purchase ledger Purchase invoice processing ensuring correct coding of invoices Payment of supplier invoices Supplier payment postings Reconciliation of supplier statements Checking monthly credit card bills to receipts and analysing for posting Reconciliation of customer statements Day to day management of sales ledger Customer receipt postings Support with credit control as required Daily bank reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations VAT Reconciliation & Returns Monthly Journals Calculating & Posting Prepayments & Accruals Assisting with Year End Procedures General administrative support to the senior management Management of facilities - stationery, mobile communications, I.T Required Skills AAT Qualified Fully competent in using IT based accounting packages Excellent Excel knowledge Previous experience with ERP software e.g SAP, Winman Detailed double-entry book-keeping skills Experience of working with foreign currencies Exceptional communication skills Analytical Strong attention to detail Able to work on own initiative and make intelligent, reasoned decisions under pressure Strong accounts receivable and payable experience Job type: Full time permanent contract Holiday: 25 days plus Bank holidays Pension: Nest Pension scheme Health: Company paid Health shield cash plan

£25,000 to £30,000 Depending on experience
