I have an exciting opportunity for A Finance professional to join an american owned University based in Central London. The role will suit a candidate who likes a varied, all-round role and has experience running accountancy functions up to trial balance. The role covers a range of accounting duties along with HR & admin duties. Main responsibilities include: Control and maintain the Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger, 6 Bank accounts, Credit card accounts & Petty cash Process financial transactions, including invoices, expense reports, deposits, BACS payments and Purchase orders Monitor project expenditure Month end reconciliations & Analysis Update monthly Cashflow forecast Prepare monthly report for submission in line with monthly deadlines Support monthly review and reconciliation of the programme's financial reports ensuring expenses are compliant with the University's financial and operational policies Assisting the Associate Director of Finance and the Director of the Programme with budgets Administration of HR processes including processes including contracts, MIS, hiring and Right to work checls Work closely with all departments including staff, faculty, vendors and students Providing support in the absence of the Associate Director of Finance To be successful in this role you will have: Advanced excel skills Previous experience in a similar role Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical & organisational skills The ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task The ability to influence and advise senior members of staff on required procedures and standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills If this sounds like the role for you, please apply online today or send your CV to
