Global Treasury Manager
Our client, a global business based in Royston, is currently recruiting a Global Treasury Manager for an initial 12 month, fixed term contract. The role is to support the business whilst they go through a period of restructuring. The role is responsible for a wide range of treasury activities and will require someone who is able to work at multiple levels, ranging from being hands on whilst also being able to provide expert knowledge to investigate and propose solutions. Key duties;
• Ownership for ensuring the smooth running of the day to day treasury operations acting as the key contact for all operational matters and working with the Head of Cashiers to deliver a quality service
• Ensure all aspects of cash management are completed on a timely basis and cost effectively including opening/closing bank accounts and maintenance of mandates
• Maximising use of cash pooling as appropriate to maintain global operating cash levels and avoid excess float
• Consider FX and interest rate exposures and ensure any proposed hedging will provide economic benefit and mitigate risk
• Issuance of guarantees to clients as required by the business and responsible for owning/monitoring the guarantees database ensuring all expired guarantees are returned in a timely manner
• Internal administrator for all bank systems including BACS
• Monitoring levels of intercompany borrowings
• Ensure all treasury activities are conducted in accordance with the Group's Treasury policies and enhancing the global treasury control environment The successful candidate will be available at short notice (the role is due to commence at the beginning of November) and be willing to commit to a 12 month contract. Interested candidates will be qualified (either an accountancy or treasury qualification), as well as possess significant practical experience in a senior, global treasury role. The role requires someone with a strong treasury, risk and finance skill set with experience of managing complex credit agreements and a working knowledge of core treasury/financial instruments.
