We are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a Top 20 accountancy practice at its office in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice with an enviable reputation. Taking care of a variety of clients, ranging from SMEs to global businesses, the Accounts & Audit Senior will help the firm to deliver high quality accountancy and audit services in a developing digital environment. As Accounts & Audit Senior, the successful candidate will have the following

responsibilities:
Ensure planning of assignments in accordance with agreed procedures, including tailoring of programmes and updating file information and system notes Supervise and manage work of junior team members, provide technical assistance, undertake post-assignment appraisals and assist Managers/Partners with feedback Preparation of client financial statements ensuring compliance with prescribed legislation and standards Liaising with other departments within the office and across the firm's other offices to ensure the timely exchange of relevant, client information Contributing to the provision of excellent client service by identifying efficiency-savings and maintaining effective client communication Recognise opportunities to help clients develop their businesses and maximise their potential Identify opportunities to provide additional services and liaise with Managers/Partners as appropriate The potential to participate in promotional activities run by the firm This prestigious practice is looking for applications from energetic, ambitious people with a strong sense of commitment and as such, candidates should have an attentive mindset. As Accounts & Audit Senior, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: Be ACA qualified with previous extensive experience gained within practice Up to date knowledge and experience of audit & accounting standards Proven ability of helping to deliver cost-effective, efficient audits Broad knowledge of business taxation Good, all-round knowledge of Microsoft Office, audit software and accounting packages Professional and approachable manner with highly effective communication skills Work well under time pressure and is able to meet deadlines Be organised with an understanding of the importance of delivering excellent client service Car driver with full, clean licence is preferred Submit your CV for this role
