Joining a well-established Analytics hub, you'll joining a project driven team providing high stakes end-to-end analysis and insight to drive commercial performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Analytics you'll demonstrate commercial skills covering complex analysis, data interpretation and reporting to support business case development and revenue optimisation initiatives. The Commercial Analyst will provide key clients with an understanding of its commercial activities to help inform decisions and make recommendations that drive revenue growth. Accountabilities: Involved in end-to-end project work, providing advanced analytics and meaningful commentary & visualisation support business planning Analysing client data sets (predominantly costing, pricing and customer centric info) finding actionable and timely insights that identify improvement Build and present analytical reporting dashboards that visualises multiple commercial metrics (sales channel performance, customer retention, revenue consistency etc.) Conduct scenario-based modelling to support revenue forecasts (Excel based) Interrogate historical client data to provide insights into customer and competitor behaviour which can be used to determine pricing decision Delivery of data to client stakeholders including production and distribution of commercial reporting packs to highlight performance Data savvy with the ability to utilize customer segmentations to create ways to improve targeting and revenue performance Develop and define success metrics, measurement methods, and reporting processes in line with individual client's business strategy Support the Data team on the development of cutting edge data tools and methodology to drive improvement in data interpretation, delivery and insight Forecast and predict revenues, volumes, utilisation etc to inform the business on strategic pricing and capacity strategies Role Requirements: Educated to degree level in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Business Studies Strong MS Excel skills and ideally exposure to Data Visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) The natural ability to quickly identify and build key relationships and work well with key stakeholders across a diverse client base Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure Previous relevant commercial / analytical experience within a commercial focused result driven environment, having worked with large volumes of data Demonstrable experience of devising commercially sound plans based on data analysis Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy Good communication skills, both verbal and written Proven experience of presenting to senior management teams Ability to manage and prioritise own work Experience of analysis within a business environment Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously Please apply for full job, interview and remuneration details.
