AVP - Internal Audit/ CCAR - 90238052 Primary Location US-New York-745 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY Job Type Permanent/Regular Description VP Internal Auditor/ CCAR 745 7th Avenue, New York, NY Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) aims to provide independent, reliable, valued, insightful and timely assurance to the Board and executive management over the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control over current and evolving risks, in the context of the current and expected business environment and in accordance with the international standards definition of internal auditing. What will you be doing? Collaborate and support the Director and VPs to define the appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan for CCAR, taking into consideration the Audit Risk Appetite, the current and expected business environment, the regulatory requirements and the resourcing levels within the Function Manage audit work to ensure that relevant risks and controls have been identified and appropriately assessed. Perform quantitative analysis, review and complete processes and documentation of scoping, risk & control identification, control evaluation and observations in BIA audit toolkit. Write high quality observations and audit reports (with input from the audit team). Provide complete, accurate and timely information for BIA reporting. What were looking for Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline and/or Industry qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM, CIA, CISA, series 3,7, 24, 63) 3 years experience in a market, capital or credit risk roles, consulting, or in auditing of financial risk processes primarily focused on Investment Banking and the relevant financial products coupled with a sound understanding of the relevant risks 2 years specific practical experiences with CCAR, Stress Testing, DFAST, Liquidity and Capital Management, model risk management, or Regulatory Reporting, etc. 2 years proficiency of data analytics and at least one data analysis language / tool e.g. SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Skills that will help you in the role Masters Degree or other advanced academic learning especially in finance, risk management or quantitative disciplines Specific exposure to validation of Risk related regulatory issues, especially those raised by FRB Good understanding of financial accounting Good understanding of model risk management Where will you be working?
