Manager Assurance (Statutory Audit)
To determine whether an organization is providing a fair and accurate representation of its financial position by examining information such as bank balances, bookkeeping records and financial transactions. Key Responsibility Area- Job Role Lead audit engagement including staffing, budgeting, planning, and execute day to day operations for clients cutting across. Preparation/Finalization of companys financial statement including consolidation of accounts i.e. balances sheet, statement of profits and loss account including notes to accounts as per GAAP, AS and various provisions of Company Act. Reviewing the financial statements and related disclosures in compliance with the Companies Act, Accounting Standards such as Indian GAAP as well as International GAAP(IFRS) and IAS as issued by European union(EU) other regulatory requirements. Practice management roles-As Manager also played an active role in (Practice Management), my responsibility is to manage the department resource and ensuring effective implementation of firms values/initiative. This role is link between leadership thoughts/objectives and staff. Activity involves proactive resource management (ensuring adequate and appropriate staff, staff rotation, utilization, and appraisals/feedback. Examination and analysis of financial assertions, records and statements as per IGAAP. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards, auditing and other legal pronouncements. Checking the major area like, revenue accounting, Capitalization, Receivables, Provisions & accruals, Payables, Loans & treasury transactions. Client responsibilities Evidence gathering, testing and drafting recommendations for the client. Gained understanding of different business process and applications. Understanding Policy and procedure at entity level. Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Regular status reporting to the project manager and onsite coordinators. Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills. People responsibilities Foster teamwork, quality culture and lead by example. Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures. Training and mentoring of project resources. Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives. As a team Leader, resource must right attitude towards teaming, ownership, knowledge sharing and learning. Project Management End to end project management from initiation to completion .
