We are looking for a Financial Analyst to become part of our high performing Finance team in Nottingham, UK. In this role, you will play a critical part in the Parexel Informatics division and work closely with our Functional Finance Leaders on a number of market transforming initiatives. Parexel is a world-class Clinical Research Organization (CRO) directing over 1,800 studies worldwide at any given time. The company is instrumental in helping to develop 95 PERCENT of the 200 top-selling biopharmaceuticals currently on the market. At Parexel Informatics (PI), we help simplify each customers journey by providing the technology solutions that enable the drug development process, along with the expertise to choose the right endpoints and apply this technology in a meaningful way. PI Strategic Finance is a strategic partner to our Operations, Technology and Commercial peers in our efforts to Identify, develop and implement cutting edge solutions Validate and communicate the commercial value of these solutions to our clients Deliver solutions on target, on budget Drive productivity to accomplish these goals faster, better and more efficiently The Finance Analyst will support the day to day management, tracking and reporting of the financial results. This includes but is not limited to Curation of Strategic/Initiative/Project Financial Master Data. Periodic Financial Closing/Reporting Activities. Standardized periodic reporting of financial results and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). FTE and related Cost Rate reviews and reporting. Project set-up, spending, forecasting and analysis. Balance sheet reconciliations and review. FX Analysis. Non-Labour spend reporting. Support P&L Forecasting and Annual Budget cycles. Ad-hoc analysis. Qualifications Skills Thrive in a complex, fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment. Attention to detail. Expert in customary Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Advanced skills in other systems (e.g., Hyperion, SharePoint, Salesforce.com) with desire/aptitude to learn further. Strong command of the English language required. Education Relevant Degree e.g. Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent experience required.
