Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and aboveBe involved in the financial management of clientsBe actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientsDevelop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clientsManage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the teamShape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteriaTrain, coach, and supervise team membersContinue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brandEssential skills & experienceAs a Senior Manager within the Newcastle practice you will be required to:Be ACA or similarly qualifiedHave experience of management of the audit from planning to supervision and review of the processHave flexibility in your approach to meeting goals as part of the teamHave the ability to communicate clearly, showing flexibility in style with different colleagues and clients at all levelsHave a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationshipsTake a proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutionsYou will have experience of interacting with senior level clients and management to develop and maintain business relationships. Experience of IFRS, UK GAAP (including FRS 101/102) and international standards on auditing would be required.Have a proven track record in Business Development and of strengthening your position in a competitive external marketBe able to successfully support, nurture and motivate different team membersHave experience in leading large and diverse teams.
