Our client, a large commercial Plc are seeking to appoint a Group Internal Auditor to join the function and support the Head of Audit to help execute and further develop their risk based internal audit plan. Based in Birmingham, there will be a degree of travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe however this would not exceed 20%. The ideal candidate will be either a qualified accountant or auditor and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to develop the role. You will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit with your main responsibilities to carry out complex internal reviews and assist with the establishment of a progressive and modern risk based internal audit function within the Group. You will be expected to liaise with internal audit departments of subsidiaries, be involved in the implementation of a Risk Management strategy and draft reports for senior stakeholders with the business.
