Our client based in Hertford, are looking for a Tax & Accounting Trainee to join a well established Tax department which is responsible for providing tax compliance services to the firm and its Partners and employees, including corporate tax, personal tax, international tax for international project workers and assignees, benefits reporting, and VAT compliance. The ideal candidate will either have gained experience or looking for their first role in a Accountancy Practice and be keen to progress into a Taxation Professional. The main responsibilities are as follows: Preparation of personal tax returns; Rental & Self-Employed Accounts; Capital Gains Tax computations; Dealing with the day-to-day compliance & queries for clients; Direct correspondence (email & phone) with clients & HMRC; Billing; Involvement in HMRC enquiries; Preparation of P11d's Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager The role is an excellent opportunity and will provide full ATT training support (The Association of Taxation Technicians) If you are interested in this opportunity then please apply today
