Tax Accountant, In-House Asset ManagementCentral London£60,000 bonuses and benefitsWe are currently searching for a leading UK-based wealth management firm. Reporting directly into the Group Head of Tax and working closely with the wider finance team, you'll be well-placed to contribute to a high performing tax function.The inbound Tax Accountant will have oversight of the corporate and indirect taxation matters, and will additionally include elements of employment tax matters and reporting processes. In summary, your responsibilities will include:Maintaining and controlling all tax accounts and tax balances of all Group companiesMaintaining all tax payments and receiptsQuarterly tax reporting and tax information packsQuarterly tax instalments for CITPreparing and submitting under MTD all VAT returns for all Group companiesMonthly VAT instalment paymentsPreparation of all corporate tax computations and submission of tax returns through Alphatax for all Group companiesMaintaining compliance records, ensuring all tax filings and payments are made by the stat deadlinesAssist with various employment tax matters including compliance where requiredKeeping up to date with tax technical matters, undertaking research and advising your business stakeholders accordinglyMaintaining and improving tax governance procedures including SAO arrangements and including client information reporting, FATCA, CRS and CBCRWriting and maintaining procedure documents for all tax returns to align with tax policies and Group tax strategyAdhoc tax accounting projects and support for Group Head of TaxDeveloping good working relationships with internal stakeholders, advisors and tax authorities.The successful candidate:ACA/CTA qualification (or part-qualified) essentialDemonstrable experience in corporate tax is essential - VAT experience is a bonusTax reporting experience is an advantageThe ability to interpret and clearly explain tax technical issuesExcellent Word and Excel skills - Experience of corporate and/or indirect tax is essential - Experience in tax reporting is an advantage - Experience of accounting systems such as TMI is an advantage -The Pro-Recruitment Group consists of five distinct brands: Pro-Tax, Pro-Legal, Pro-Finance, Pro-HR and Pro-Marketing.LocationLondon, EnglandSector:Corporate Tax, Tax Accounting & Reporting, VAT / Indirect TaxType:Permanent
