The vacancy for an Accountant we are managing is for someone who has likely recently achieved ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified status and looking to carve a career in a commercial finance role. You will be the primary link between finance and the rest of the business, providing heads with key information for making critical decisions. Principal responsibilities will include:
• Direct cyclical business reviews with departmental heads, supporting the financial planning and reporting for each.
• Reviewing section management accounts reports and costs amending where necessary
• Develop and implement monthly profit and loss reporting
• Prepare and updated procedures when required, monitoring and assessing internal control
• Assist with KPI reporting
• Full responsibility for income recognition To succeed in this role you will have advanced Excel, as well as the technical knowledge as listed above. You will have diplomacy with strong influencing skills, be commercially aware, have effective communication skills, demonstrate the ability to identify and troubleshoot critical issues, a fast learner and driven to action.
