responsibilities:
Lead on subsidiary company statutory reporting, support in the group consolidation process and organisation and delivery of the annual audit process. Contribute to the group's tax strategy and be involved in the preparation and oversight of the group's VAT and corporation tax returns. Take the lead in the absence of the Head of Tax and Statutory Reporting. Review existing accounting policies, ensure that they are regulatory compliant, followed by the business, and implement improvements where required to both policy and process. Provide financial accounting scrutiny and rigour to new business proposals and communicate your technical knowledge and expertise to others in a clear concise understandable way. Responsible for the preparation, provision, interpretation and development of financial information, including the monthly management accounts consolidation. The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIPFA qualified or similar and have experience in financial accounting, management accounts, audit and have up to date tax knowledge.
