Senior Financial Accountant My client is an IT business based in Surrey. There is an opportunity for an experienced financial accountant to join the business on a short term contract. The purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely recording, classification and reporting of accounting transactions. There will be an emphasis on reconciliations, month end processes, reporting results and recording of routine and non-routine transactions. Senior Financial Accountant

responsibilities:
To assist with the month end close including journals, analysis and reporting Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to a high level with strong support and reasoning Prepare and submit audit information to a professional standard Prepare UK GAAP/IFRS trial balance and financial statements Understand and work with the differences between US GAAP and UK GAAP/IFRS Take on key projects such as business cases, technical memos, detailed analysis and operational reviews Assist the UK Head of Accounting with process improvements Senior Financial Accountant skills : Qualified Accountant Audit experience preferred Microsoft Office essential (Advanced Excel, Basic Word and PowerPoint) Oracle and Hyperion Planning experience preferred This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/88372988
