The role contributes to the success and profitability of the organisation by producing accurate monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reports and provides ongoing monitoring and controlling of actual costs against budgets. The role contributes to the success and profitability of the organisation by producing accurate monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reports and provides ongoing monitoring and controlling of actual costs against budgets. Whilst ensuring that all financial practices are always within the framework for regulatory compliance whilst ensuring outstanding customer service. Working within the Company's key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership. To ensure compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality system. Key responsibilities; Opening and assessing new customer accounts. Manages a wide and diverse ledger with effective cash collection. Responsible for the day to day management of customer accounts. Preparation of reports to include to debtor Calculation and review of bad debt provision. Reduction of overdue debtor balances. Assist other team members in the sales decision-making. Point of reference to departmental managers and the board through the effective management of credit accounts and query reports. Establishes credit lines, reviews, updates and amends lines internally also with customers. Direct customer contact through communication and recognises as to build and reinforce relationships. Lead in collection of payments. Meeting with customers face to face to development customer relationships.
