Financial Accountant - Auditor This City based role offers an amazing opportunity to a recently qualified Accountant to progress their career in an organisation offering excellent exposure to wide ranging technical accounting and reporting matters. Working with highly experienced colleagues who will mentor you and encourage your rapid technical and personal growth, you will be reviewing annual and interim reports to ensure their compliance with relevant reporting requirements. In addition, you will be engaging with senior stakeholders to monitor, enforce and influence the development and application of high quality reporting requirements internationally. Liaising across businesses, you will be using your negotiating skills to obtain corrections and qualitative improvements. You will perform technical and analytical reviews of annual reports and accounts, or specific aspects of corporate reporting, to identify substantive points of possible material non-compliance with relevant reporting requirements and recommend appropriate action. This opportunity will appeal to an ambitious, fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAS, CAI or equivalent) with experience of applying IFRS in a major accounting firm or at a similar level within industry. You will have good knowledge of corporate reporting requirements and best practice and be a confident and articulate communicator with the ability to present effectively to both a 'technical' and a 'lay' audience. A flexible and comprehensive benefits package along with 30 days holiday and a basic salary of £44,000 - £48,000 is being offered.
