Reporting into: Credit Controller Team Leader Overview of role: The Credit Controller will be responsible for chasing bad debt and PR Clients and the automation of the processes surrounding these. Ideally this person must be able to demonstrate credit control experience with a proven track record of collecting cash from a high volume of creditors using effective and efficient methods. This role is very much hands on, and the ideal candidate must be prepared to work as part of the team. Duties and

responsibilities:
Collecting money from customers & contacting them by Email and Telephone. Administering client invoices via the finance system Account reconciliations and statement processing Purchase orders - Understanding of purchase orders, chasing clients to obtain purchase order numbers, maintaining detailed and accurate records Dealing with BACS remittance queries, telephoning client's accounts departments Minimising bad debts Assist with departmental end of month duties including the processing of credit Essential Skills and Experience: Experience of dealing with high volume of customers on a monthly basis Sage 200 knowledge & Credit Hound advantageous but not essential as full training will be given Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines Ability to work as part of a team Good Excel skills Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills Maintaining a good client relationship The standard working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 am to 17.30 pm excluding one-hour unpaid lunch break per day.
