Payroll Assistant
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established global business in Portsmouth. The client is looking for a Payroll Assistant for 9 months. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for: Processing a large monthly payroll for 600 employees Processing expenses and timesheets Preparing statutory returns, ensuring third-party payments are paid on a timely basis, monitoring sickness and calculating sick pay, SSP and unpaid sickness. Assisting the finance team with payroll information for journals and budgets as required Dealing with payroll queries and assisting auditors with compliance checks and audits. Basic payroll calculations. Reset of user's password. Copy payslips. Adhoc duties This need is to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be someone with a can-do attitude who has worked in a payroll role before, dealing with multiple sites, monthly paid employees and contractors.
