Your opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte's market-leading Restructuring Services group where you will develop your career with some of the most experienced practitioners in the field assisting with corporate insolvency engagements, predominantly trading administrations. Please note: This relates to future opportunities with Deloitte. Once a role becomes available, we will contact relevant candidates. Your role We are currently looking for Fixed Term Contractors with Corporate Insolvency experience for work across the UK at Director/Assistant Director level. You will be responsible for managing specific workstreams on corporate insolvency engagements, particularly trading administrations on a day to day basis with partner oversight, which could include:
• Monitoring financial performance and estimated outcomes
• Sale of business and assets
• Managing wind down activities
• Negotiating and communicating with key stakeholders including shareholders, customers, suppliers and regulators
• Dealing with retention of title issues
• Managing employee issues
• Managing small teams and creating effective delegation and development opportunities for individual team members
• Ensuring statutory compliance

Location:
You will be based in one of the Deloitte UK offices; however the role may also involve travel and will require the flexibility to work on site nationally. We specify full mobility for this role, but we make arrangements respectfully. Working from home days are available and flexible depending on clients, deadlines, and projects. Suggested work pattern: This is a full time opportunity on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Your professional experience
• JIEB Qualified or equivalent
• ACA/ACCA qualification is desirable, but not essential
• Trading administration and broad corporate insolvency experience gained within a professional services firm
• Understanding of the Insolvency Act, SIPs and related insolvency legislation
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Excel and powerpoint skills
• Proven project management skills
• Ability to lead small teams and develop people
