Working 9am - 1pm, Monday - Friday, this role is based within a friendly team supporting the Finance Manager. Starting initially as a 4 month contract, it does have the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Job Description: Handling accounts payable and processing invoices Setting up supplier payments through the online banking software Accounts receivable; raising sales invoices Credit check new customers Print statements and send to customers Occasional debtor chasing Pay in cheques to the bank as required Maintain the weekly cash forecast Post payments and receipts into the accounting system Weekly bank reconciliation Maintain finance database with customer and supplier details Post staff mileage and expenses Post credit card receipts and reconcile Create report for calculating commissions payable Occasional payroll using SAGE software Person Specification: Previous experience in a similar accounts position is essential Must be a full drivers license and use of a vehicle due to office location Knowledge of both Accounts Receivable and Account Payable Good working knowledge of accounts packages would be an advantage Pro-active, outgoing attitude with good negotiating skills Understand how a services business works and can work well within a team Excellent and professional telephone manner Proven track record of excellent client care Additional Information: Based in Dorking £13.00 - £15.00 per hour Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm Initially starting as a 4/5 month contract 21 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays (pro rata) AE pension scheme Must be a full drivers license and use of a vehicle due to office location We appreciate the time you took to apply for this vacancy, however due to the high level of applications that we receive, we can only respond to successful candidates.
