Credit Control Manager We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join a leading company within the construction and roofing industry. The successful candidate would be joining a small but talented finance team working in a fast paced environment. Our clients ideal candidate would ideally have previous experience of working in a credit control role within a construction, retail or transport business. Within the position the post holder will be reviewing applications for new accounts using appropriate external means of enquiry. Recommend action on granting credit, credit limits and terms of trading, within the time limits set out in the credit policy. Whilst also reviewing applications for increased credit limits and recommend action, within the time limits set out in the credit policy. As credit control manager the successful individual will be managing the litigation process from issue of proceedings, answering defendant's responses and counter-claims, obtaining and enforcing judgement, recovery of costs and interest and liaison with third parties e.g. bailiffs where necessary. The role involves working closely with a number of different branch managers across numerous site across the London and surrounding home counties . Responsibilities / Skills required:
• Previous experience within a Credit Control Manager
• Accounting qualifications ideally in Credit Control
• A desirable would be someone who has worked previously in the retail, construction or transport industry
• Excellent communication skills
