Wells & Co are currently going through an exciting Business Change programme bringing in opportunities for Significant Expansion in our Pubs Division as well as building a new state of the art Brewery in Bedford. As our "Brewery Management Accountant" you will be involved throughout the build phase of the Brewery and will have responsibility for developing our ERP system. You will also need to take ownership of Standard Costs and Budgeting and Forecasting. This role will be a key member of the Commercial Finance Team but will also work closely with our Brewery Management Team and shall have the chance to develop a working understanding of the Brewing processes. Key areas of responsibility include:
• Management Accounting for the Brewery Operations and Commercial Teams
• Budgeting and Forecasting for the Brewery
• Design, Testing and Training for the Production Elements of Microsoft Dynamics ERP
• Ownership of the Standard Costing Models
• Ownership of Stock Set up for Third Party Products and reconciliation of pricing
• Other ad-hoc support within both the Finance and Brewing teams, as required What "essentials" we are looking for:
• Actively studying toward CIMA or ACCA combined with a background that includes Management Accounting for a Production/Operations Division of an FMCG business.
• You will have strong attention to detail and be confident in communicating with non-finance colleagues and the board.
• Should have a strong systems background and ideally worked on Navision and/or an ERP systems implementation project
• Time Management and Workload Planning Skills (essential)
• Strong "can do" attitude excited about being a part of a changing and evolving culture
• Highly organised and methodical in delivering a service with a high level of attention to detail In return we will offer:
