About the position of Internal Audit Manager You will be responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality assurance audit reports on third party intermediaries and portfolios of businesses which meet the requirements of the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee. You will lead internal audits in the UK and the Isle of Man across all of the group's companies. Responsibilities for the role of Internal Audit Manager Provide the group boards with an independent and objective evaluation of the adequacy, effectiveness and quality of operational risk management and governance internal control framework. Identity potential areas of operational, financial or regulatory vulnerability and risk and provide management with a recommended corrective action plan for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future Develop a group audit plan Perform audits related to third parties Undertake regular internal audits Provide recommendations for minimising internal control deficiencies and to recommend cost control processes or cost reduction ideas Apply knowledge of relevant key regulations to influence audit scope Contribute to the audit process Management of the internal auditor ensuring that clear objections are set Keep up to date with regulatory changes Develop effective relationships with third party intermediaries Ad hoc projects Experience required for the role of Internal Audit Manager Hold or working towards obtaining a recognised Internal Auditor qualification Experience in an Audit role gained in consumer finance or the banking sector Ability to develop strong working relationships Computer literacy (Word, Excel and Outlook) Be prepared to travel for business For more information regarding the role of Internal Audit Manager please contact us Stellar Select is acting as an employment agency and is a corporate member of the REC Due to a high volume of applications, we will only contact you if your application has been successful.
