Our client is a highly successful global retail organisation with a significant presence across the UK and Europe. This role is an opportunity for an ambitious senior finance leader, to move into a highly collaborative, dynamic and results driven environment, that will bring variety, challenge and continuing opportunity for learning and development. The successful candidate will lead a sizeable team (20), that has Europe wide responsibility and affords significant interaction with the global leadership team. Day to day work is augmented with ad-hoc strategic projects that will deliver immediate impact on the success of the business. This is a unique retail environment that has outperformed the market for many years and continues with a high growth trajectory. We are looking for a considered, motivated and collegiate professional, with a combination of strong interpersonal skills, superior leadership ability and proven commercial and financial acumen. You could currently be a Divisional Finance Director. Candidates will be expected to know how to build a 'best in class' finance function, that is valued by the business as a trusted partner. A retail background is preferred although not essential. Candidates must have led a significant team of high calibre finance professionals, ideally with a global organisation. A strong academic background with a recognised accounting qualification is essential. There is a real opportunity to progress within the organisation, which is set to achieve unrivalled growth in the coming years. This person will play a critical role in the senior European leadership team.
