A newly created role leading complex VAT advisory assignments; leading VAT project work for a range of international clients; offering expert technical training both for internal staff and externally for individual clients. The role of VAT Manager is to be offered within this international firm of Chartered Accountants, whose UK head office function is based in London, also with a Surrey based office. This opportunity may suit a VAT specialist who can either be London based or Surrey based - or a mix of the two. There will be a very close working relationship not just within the VAT specialism , however across the business to include all Partners and senior stakeholders within the Accounting, Audit and Outsourcing teams. You will ideally be CTA Qualified and have a wide range of VAT relevance expertise to include VAT Accounting, Customs Procedures, Property Transactions, Partial Exemption, Extensive Liaison with HMRC and have excellent interpersonal skills. The salary offered to the right candidate will be based on their current level, relevant VAT experience and Qualifications and so for the moment, this banding is an approximate guide set by Fletcher George at £60,000 to £70,000 per annum .
