Our client is a luxury retailer based in the West End of London who are currently seeking to recruit a Head of Credit on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of 18 months. reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 6 and for developing, administering and enforcing the company credit and collections policies and procedures. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows: Accountable for collections of over £160m per annum Maximising cash flow and ensuring prompt payment if invoices and deling with non-payment via enforcement and legal action Ensuring prompt resolution of customer queries Overseeing the monitoring of credit insurance limits Periodic credit and account reviews to assess trading risks Reconciling major accounts and dealing with any disputes Attend credit reference agency industry meetings Dealing with Administrators and Liquidations Oversee processing of new account applications and assess credit risks Management and development of Credit Control Supervisor, Payroll Analyst and Cashier You will be MCICM qualified and have previously worked within. the retail industry.
