Our client is a very well established Accounting Practice, based close to Sutton. They have a very experienced and professional team and now seek an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their thriving business. Reporting to the Partners, this individual will already have experience of working within Practice and feel comfortable in handling a varied role and dealing directly with clients. The duties include: Preparing Year-End Accounts for a selection of small Limited Companies and Sole Traders Some Basic Bookkeeping for those clients Preparing Quarterly VAT Returns A willingness to get involved in with some Payroll duties Calculation of Personal Tax Returns Previous systems knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage or Xero is desirable - although training will be given. The company is happy to accept applications from candidates seeking Full Time and / or Part Time work as they can offer flexibility with the working hours.
